It's an Iowa tradition among cyclists to dip their rear tire into the Missouri River before beginning the ride across the state, then celebrate by dipping their front tire into the Mississippi River at the finish. That journey inspired BANK TO BANK.
Travel from one river bank to the other as you experience Iowa's rolling hills, small towns, pie stops, gravel roads, friendly locals, farm country, and unforgettable cycling culture.

3. DESCRIPTION - HOW TO PLAY
2–6 Players
Choose your game piece!
Almost anything works:
- Bottle cap
- Coin
- Small rock
- Poker chip
- Bicycle valve cap
- Patch
- Guitar pick
- Lucky penny
- Even a peanut or piece of candy (if you're hungry!)
Roll the custom 4-sided die and begin your journey at DAY 0.
Move square by square across Iowa until you reach DAY 7 and the Mississippi River.
Along the way you'll:
- Meet new friends
- Climb unforgettable hills
- Enjoy pie
- Visit small towns
- Ride gravel roads
- Stop at Meeting Towns
- Catch tailwinds...
- ...and maybe battle a headwind or two.
The first player to reach FINISH wins.
Bonus Rule: You don't need an exact roll to finish.
BIKEIOWA NOTE: a game with two players lasts 15-25 minutes and it is more fun than we thought it would be to play and with the different game square variations, it is a different outcome each time.

🚴 $1 supports the Dream Team Des Moines, a Central Iowa nonprofit that helps young adults build confidence, set goals, and develop healthy lifestyles through mentor-based bicycling experiences, including a five-month journey that prepares teens to complete a 400+ mile ride across Iowa.
🚴 $1 supports the Iowa Bicycle Coalition and its work to improve bicycle safety, education, advocacy, and better places to ride throughout Iowa.
🚴 $1 supports the RAGBRAI Gives Community Bicycle Shop Program, benefiting six Iowa nonprofit bike organizations:
These organizations make bicycles more accessible through youth programs, donated bicycles, advocacy, education, community repair shops, and transportation initiatives.
